Hearts of Oak experienced midfielder Mustapha Essuman is delighted to have netted his debut goal for the Phobians in their 3-1 home win over Bechem United on match day four of the Ghana Premier League.
Essuman has been in the form of his life since joining the Phobians this season as a free agent and his partnership with Sabbah Laryea in Hearts' midfield has been superb.
The former Ebusua Dwarfs midfielder in his fourth Premier League game for Hearts of Oak at the Accra Sports Stadium scored his side's second goal and his debut after his powerful right-foot drive took a wicked deflection on Bechem United's Akwasi Acheampong.
Essuman in an interview with Pulse.com.gh after the game expressed his delight in scoring his debut goal.
'I'm very happy to score my first Premier League goal for Hearts of Oak. It is a dream come true and I must congratulate my team mates for a good job done in picking the three points.
'The goal will motivate me in our subsequent games. I'm not being complacent, I'm focused and I think my best is yet to come,' Essuman said.
Essuman has played 340 minutes for Kenichi Yatsuhashi's side in the ongoing Ghana Premier League.
