Former Ghana youth international Daniel Kofi Agyei wants to fight for a place in the Fiorentina first team for the upcoming season.
The 23-year-old spent last season on loan at Serie C1 side Benevento, who own 50 percent of his economic rights.
But the former Bechem United player wants a return to the Fruili and play in the Italian Serie A.
He made his Serie A debut for Fiorentina in 2010 against Bari when he came on as a substitute in the 48th minute for Marco Donadel.
“I did well last season on loan at Benevento. I want to get the chance to prove my worth to Fiorentina,' Agyei told TV3
'I know it will be very difficult because I will be competing with experienced players but I’m ready for this challenge.
'I joined the youth purple long ago, I came from Bechem United and it was 2007.
'My career? I had a few injuries but it was wonderful so far. My dream is to reach the national team and stay there on a permanent basis. ”
Agyei captained Fiorentina's Primavera squad to win the treble in 2011.
