Ghana striker Mahatma Otoo scored to help Sogndal secure a 2-0 win at Bryne which sees the side shoot up to the top of the Norwegian second tier league.
The 23-year-old who missed the start of the league with injury opened his season's account with an 18th minute strike on Wednesday.
Otoo has been in fine form since his return from injury – first scoring to help the side progress in the Norwegian Cup.
Christian Kjemhus scored Sogndal's second to seal the win two minutes to half time.
The victory sees Eirik Bakke's side clinch top spot in the Norwegian second tier league with 17 points – two more than closest rival Hodd after eight rounds of games.
