Ghana midfielder Afriyie Acquah was named Man of the Match in the final of the 2015 Africa Cup of Nations on Sunday despite losing on penalties to the Elephants.
The new Sampdoria signing was superb in midfield and was very combative against Ivory Coast captain Yaya Toure and Serge Die.
But Acquah had an anti-climax to his game after missing one of Ghana's missed spot-kicks during the round-robin five kicks.
Nonetheless, the 23-year-old had a wonderful tournament since starting in Ghana's second Group C match against Algeria.
