Kevin Prince Boateng Boateng ruled out for Zambia signed at the end of the summer transfer window in Schalke 04. A surprising transfer as just three days earlier, he had contributed to the qualification of AC Milan for the group stage of the Champions League. The Ghanaian had scored two goals in a 3-1 win over PSV Eindhoven.
It seems that racism is the cause of the sudden departure of the midfielder. Questioned by Bild, Peters Peters, the financial Director of Gelsenkirchen club, says that Boateng “insisted on his departure from (AC Milan) because of racist incidents in Italy.” And he “obtained the agreement of the President Silvio Berlusconi to leave if Milan qualified for the Champions League.”
In January, he did not hesitate to leave the field during a friendly match.
