Accra, April 15, GNA - Promasidor Ghana Limited, producers of Miksi Milk has decided to support the table tennis team event at the forth-coming Volta Regional Sports Festival.
The Regional Sports Festival which is scheduled to take place at the Anloga Senior High School in May this year is aimed at selecting a formidable team to represent the Region in this year's National Sports Festival.
Mr Israel Nornyibey, Marketing Manager of Promasidor Ghana Limited announced the support of his company to assist in the development of table tennis when he met with the Volta Regional Director of Sports, Mr Gabriel Yao Missodey in Ho.
Other disciplines at the Regional Sports Festival will include Handball, Volleyball, Athletics and Soccer - boys U15.
Mr Missodey expressed his personal appreciation and that of the Volta Regional Sports Council to Promasidor for the kind gesture and the company's initiative to assist develop tennis in the Municipality.
He prayed that a good rapport and an ever lasting relationship would be developed between the two bodies to help in developing other sporting events in the Region whilst calling on other corporate bodies to also lend their support to unearth sports talents in the Region.
