Norway-based goalie Adam Larsen Kwarasey is one of the latest Ghana converts hoping to secure in place in the Black Stars ahead of two major tournament next year; Nations Cup and World Cup if his switch in nationality is confirmed with Fifa.

In an interview with Ghanasoccernet's Akyereko Frimpong-Manson he speaks of how he his bidding his time to join the national team and the chances of the team at the World Cup.

GSN:   Who is Adam Larsen Kwarasey?
ALK: I am a goalkeeper, 21 years of age. I was born in Oslo,Norway to a Ghanaian father and a Norwegian mother. I have lived all my life in Norway.

GSN: Where did you start playing football and at what age?

ALK: I first started my career in Oslo with Vålerenga where I was born then changed to Stromsgodset when i was 19 and I made my professional debut against Rosenberg BK (Anthony Annan's current) team and we won by 2-1.

GSN: Have played for Norway before?
ALK: I have been selected for Norway U-19 & U-21 numerous of times. I've always wanted to play for Ghana but have never been in contact with the FA before I turned 20. And since that I realized that it might be a reality, so my mind has been Ghana and not Norway since that.

GSN: Generally what do you think about the Ghana team?

ALK: I'm impressed... It's a strong team that can beat all other nations on a good day... Believe that it's the strongest team in Africa together with Ivory Coast at the moment.

GSN: Do you dream of playing for the Black Stars anytime soon or even at the World Cup?

ALK: I'm still just 21 so I hope that I can be there one day in the future though it would be great to be selected now... But for now i believe it will be as a back-up when Kingston is as good goalkeeper as he is...

GSN: How do you access the chances of the Black Stars at the 2010 World Cup?

ALK: As I said earlier I think the team can do it pretty good.. Absolutely capable to go through the Group stage and then take it from there.
