Asante Kotoko are said to have agreed personal terms with Sekondi Hasaacas striker Frederick Quayson.
The Porcupine Warriors want to boost their attacking force before the start of the new season and next year's Caf Champions League.
Quayson has six-months left on his current contract with the Sekond-based side and will leave as a free-agent should his current club reject Kotoko's bid.
The burly striker scored five goals for Hasmal last term and will become the second goal-getter to leave the club after David Anars left for rivals Hearts of Oak.
Kotoko also claim they have reached personal terms with another striker Alex Asamoah of AshantiGold.
But the deal is likely to fall through following the staggering price being quoted by the mining club.
