Ghana international Kwasi Sibo has revealed he is weighing up offers from the English Premier League and the Saudi Pro League after leaving Spanish side Real Oviedo at the end of his contract.

The 28-year-old became a free agent this summer after his deal with Oviedo expired, bringing an end to a two-year spell at the club following his arrival on a free transfer from Amorebieta in 2024.

Speaking in an exclusive interview with 3Sports, Sibo disclosed that interest in his services is growing and said he expects to make a decision on his future soon.

"I have offers from the Premiership. I have offers from the Saudi Premier League. So I'm looking forward to those offers within this week. I will know because I feel like I'm still young. I'm 28. I'm not old," he said.

Sibo began his European journey after leaving Ghanaian side Cheetah FC in 2018 and has since featured for Armenian club Urartu, English outfit Watford, Albanian side Skenderbeu, UD Ibiza, Real Betis, Amorebieta and Real Oviedo.

The midfielder made 26 La Liga appearances during the 2025/26 campaign, although Oviedo were unable to retain their top-flight status and suffered relegation at the end of the season.

Looking back on his time in Spain's top division, Sibo described fulfilling a long-held ambition of competing in one of Europe's elite leagues despite the disappointing outcome.

"I wanted to play in the big leagues like the Spanish La Liga, the English Premier League. Through my journey, through the hard work, through the dedication, through the sacrifice, I was able to taste the Spanish La Liga for a season. Unfortunately, we weren't lucky. We got back to La Liga 2 the same season," he said.

Sibo's impressive performances throughout the campaign also earned him a place in Ghana's squad for the 2026 FIFA World Cup. He featured in all four of the Black Stars' matches at the tournament, accumulating 249 minutes as Ghana reached the knockout stage for the first time since 2010.

With a reported market value of around €1.5 million, the Ghana midfielder is expected to finalise his next move in the coming days as interest from England and Saudi Arabia intensifies.
