The Black Stars have departed Rhode Island for Philadelphia as focus shifts to a decisive FIFA World Cup Group L encounter against Croatia on Saturday at Lincoln Financial Field.
Ghana, who trained at Bryant University on Wednesday following their hard-fought 0–0 draw with England at Gillette Stadium, continue their recovery and preparation phase ahead of what could prove a defining fixture in their campaign.
The draw against England maintained Ghana’s strong position in the group, with Carlos Queiroz’s side now level at the top of Group L alongside the Three Lions.
Both teams sit on four points after one win and one draw from their opening two matches, setting up a tense finish to the group stage.
Attention now turns to Croatia, with qualification for the Round of 32 firmly within reach. A victory on Saturday would guarantee Ghana's progression to the knockout stage for the first time since 2010, marking a significant milestone for the West African side.
The team is scheduled to hold one final training session on Friday in Philadelphia before taking to the pitch for the high-stakes encounter the following day.
With momentum building and qualification in sight, Ghana’s meeting with Croatia promises to be one of the standout fixtures of the group stage.
