Nineteen-year-old striker Ayornor Michael continues to make headlines with his impressive goal-scoring form in the Greater Accra Regional Football Association (GARFA) Division Two League.
The John Paintsil FC forward was once again on target on Saturday, finding the net against Madina Republicans to cap a remarkable first round of the season.
Michael has been in devastating form, scoring an astonishing 13 goals in 14 matches during the first round of the league.
His consistency in front of goal has played a key role in John Paintsil FC’s strong campaign and their position at the top of Zone 5 heading into the second round.

Before joining John Paintsil FC, the promising striker featured for Brave Warriors FC, also in the Division Two League.
During the 2024/25 season, he announced himself as a player to watch by scoring 17 goals in 20 games, a return that highlighted his natural finishing ability and eye for goal.
Since making the switch, Michael has seamlessly continued his goal-scoring exploits, earning praises for his movement, composure, and hunger inside the penalty area. At just 19, he has already established himself as one of the most lethal attackers in the league.
With the Division Two League set to resume for the second round this weekend, Ayornor Michael will be keen to build on his outstanding first-half performance.
All eyes will be on the young striker as he looks set to add to his tally and further cement his reputation as a rising goal machine in Ghana’s lower-tier football.
