Former Ghana international Nii Odartey Lamptey has reportedly resigned as head coach of Eleven Wonders after a disappointing start to the 2025/26 Ghana Premier League season.
Lamptey, who was appointed before the campaign began, decided to part ways with the Techiman-based side after failing to secure a single win in seven matches.
Eleven Wonders currently sit 17th on the league table with just two points from a possible 21, having endured a torrid run of results both home and away.
During Lamptey’s brief tenure, the team managed two draws and five defeats, struggling to find consistency or momentum.
Their season opened with a goalless draw against Holy Stars, but things quickly unravelled following heavy losses, including a 4-1 home defeat to Heart of Lions and a 1-0 reverse against Hearts of Oak in Accra.
Subsequent defeats to Young Apostles, Samartex, and Nations FC further compounded their troubles, with only a draw against Karela United offering a fleeting moment of relief.
With Lamptey’s departure, Eleven Wonders are now focused on regrouping ahead of their Matchday 8 clash against high-flying Aduana FC this weekend.
