Asante Kotoko head coach, Dr. Prosper Narteh Ogum, has commended True Democracy after their FA Cup win.
The Porcupine Warriors hosted the lower-tier side in the quarterfinals of the 2024/25 MTN FA Cup on Sunday at the Baba Yara Stadium.
However, Kotoko needed Kwame Opoku's late strike to seal a 2-1 win to progress to the semifinals of the FA Cup.
Although Coach Ogum admits that True Democracy are a very good team, he insists that it is incorrect to claim that the opponent is the toughest side his outfit has faced this season.
“True Democracy are a very good team, they are a well-drilled side. That one we can’t take it away from them," he said.
"They are a good side but they are not the toughest side we have faced this season,” he added.
Asante Kotoko will face Berekum Chelsea in the semifinals of the FA Cup.
