Former WAFA standout defender Konadu Yiadom has rejoined Hearts of Oak after an unsuccessful loan spell at Ukrainian club Kryvbas Kryvyi.
Yiadom, who transferred to Kryvbas in August 2023 with hopes of securing a permanent move, faced significant challenges overseas.
Despite his potential, the solid central defender did not make any appearances for the Ukrainian team and was only listed on the bench twice throughout the season.
Due to his limited playing time, Kryvbas Kryvyi opted not to extend Yiadom's loan, leading to his return to Hearts of Oak.
Yiadom was seen back in training with the Phobians at Pobiman on Monday, marking his reintegration into the squad.
The 24-year-old remains under contract with Hearts of Oak until June 30, 2025. He originally joined from WAFA and played a pivotal role in their MTN FA Cup victory in 2022.
Yiadom's return offers him a chance to re-establish himself within the Hearts of Oak team and contribute to their upcoming campaigns.
It is unknown if he will feature in the maiden edition of the Democracy Cup game between Hearts of Oak and Asante Kotoko on Wednesday, July 17 at the Accra Sports Stadium with kick-off scheduled at 18:00GMT.
