
Ghana international, Mohammed Kudus starred with a fine display on Saturday evening when Ajax locked horns with Heracles in the Dutch Eredivisie.
In the opening match in the 2023/24 Dutch Eredivisie campaign for both teams, the Black Stars attacker started for his team on the right flank.
Living up to the hype around his name in the transfer market, Mohammed Kudus put on a show and finished the game with a well-taken goal in the 75th minute to give Ajax the lead for the first time in the match.
He would go on to win a penalty kick for the hosts as the side eventually came from behind to secure a 4-1 win at the end of the 90 minutes.
For his outstanding displays against Heracles this evening, Mohammed Kudus earned a high rating of 8.1.
In the game played at the Amsterdam Arena, Heracles took the lead in the 45th minute when Mario Engels hit the bank of the Ajax net.
Three minutes into added time before the break, Jakov Medić equalised with a long-range effort to restore parity to the game.
After recess, a goal from Mohammed Kudus plus a brace from captain Steven Bergwijn won the three points for Ajax.
