Ghana star, Mohammed Kudus climbed off the Ajax bench on Sunday evening to score for the side in the big 7-1 win against Excelsior in the Dutch Eredivisie.

The talented attacker missed out on a starting eleven place today with his manager deciding to go with youngster Brian Brobbey as the centre forward.

In a game of many goals, Ajax had a comfortable 3-0 win at the end of the first half with Brian Brobbey finding the back of the Excelsior net in the final minutes.

Before his powerful header though, goals from Jorge Sanchez and Steven Berghuis put Ajax in control of the contest.

After recess, the defending Dutch Eredivisie champions continued to dominate play and scored for fun.

Brian Brobbey netted his second in the 59th minute and went on to play 83 minutes of the encounter.

In the 74th minute, Mohammed Kudus came on to replace Steven Berghius after a very good display.

Seven minutes after his introduction, Mohammed Kudus scored to make it 7-0 for Ajax after Dusan Tadic and Steven Bergwijn had also found the back of the net of the visiting team earlier.

At full-time, Mohammed Kudus who played only 16 minutes received a good rating as SofaScore rated his performance 7.2 out of 10.
