SEP 26, 2022 LISTEN

Ra | Naissance has launched a campaign to promote art while seeking support for Black Stars of Ghana for the 2022 FIFA World Cup.

The campaign dubbed ‘Ghana Feels Good’ will focus on putting arts by Ghanaian artists on display during a tour to four different nations.

Besides Ghana, thousands of arts will be on tour to the USA, Brazil, as well as Qatar during the 2022 FIFA World Cup.

Through the tour, Ra | Naissance will honour world football great and Brazil legend Edson Arantes do Nascimento, popularly known as Pelé.

At the world cup which will feature Ghana, Black Stars players including former and current stars will also see their art on display.

The Ghana Feels Good campaign while selling Ghanaian artistes to the world will during the World Cup period serve as a tool to rally support for the Black Stars as well.

According to Genera Moore who is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Ra|Naissance, the art tour will among other things impact the Ghanaian economy positively.

She shared this during an engagement with the media on the sidelines of the private view of some art collection in Accra at the Yaya La Parisienne Restaurant.

“We are celebrating and honoring Pele and giving him his honour because this year not only is the World Cup happening but Ghana is going to as well. So this campaign also to get business owners and businesses to get behind and support the Black Stars to the World Cup because just as we are sending Pele our good energy we want to send the Black Stars our good energy as well,” Genera Moore told journalists.

The founder of Ra | Naissance continued, “Ghana has already got a lot of talent. We are just packaging it because artists may not get the right value here in Ghana. If we take it to New York you are going to get triple the value. When the artist comes back that’s going to compact his community. That’s the kind of impact we want to do.

“This is going to boost a lot of tourism. These arts when displayed on the tours a lot of people are going to see it’s from Ghana and then they will want to come and see Ghana.”

Genera Moore further expressed optimism about the Black Stars, insisting that the team can win the 2022 FIFA World Cup.

In an appeal, she called on Ghanaians home and abroad to have confidence and support the team ahead of the mundial.

She argues that if the team feels the energy of Ghanaians to be behind them, players will give their all to make the country proud.

Ra | Naissance will be in New York, USA in October for the art tour before a trip to Qatar for the world cup period where a lot of art pieces will be on display.
