
German third division club, FSV Zwickau has announced that they have completed the signing of defender Steffen Nkansah to give the team a squad boost for the new football season.
The German-born defender of Ghanaian descent was part of the Eintracht Braunschweig squad last season and had a decent spell throughout the campaign.
Following successful negotiations, Steffen Nkansah has now been signed by FSV Zwickau until the summer of 2022.
“FSV Zwickau signed defender Steffen Nkansah shortly after the start of the season in the 3rd division. The 24-year-old central defender was most recently active for second division promoted Eintracht Braunschweig and signed a contract with the Swans until June 30, 2022”, an official club statement has announced today.
According to FSV Zwickau, the defender will help the team immensely with his good athleticism, physical presence, as well as his vast experience.
