Spanish side Granada FC has completed the signing of Ghanaian teenager Mubarak Alhassan, Modernghana Sports can report.
In the past couple of months, the highly-rated attacking midfielder has been in Spain to seal a move to the La Liga side after his impressive outing in the Ghana Premier League before it was suspended as a result of the Coronavirus (Covid-19) pandemic.
Following successful negotiations, Mubarak Alhassan has finally put pen on paper to sign a 3-year contract with Granada FC.
“Our midfielder Mubarak Alhassan has completed his transfer to La Liga side Granada FC. We wish him well in his next adventure”, a statement from Liberty Professionals has confirmed the transfer today.
The 17-year old is seen as an investment for the future and will have a chance to have pre-season with the team to fight for a place in the first team ahead of the next football season.
Before the 2019/2020 Ghana Premier League season was put on hold, Mubarak Alhassan made 13 appearances and chipped in with 5 goals and 5 assist for Liberty Professionals.
