Nollywood actress-cum-evangelist Tonto Dikeh has opened up about her long-standing relationship with her faith, revealing that she was almost ordained as a pastor at the age of 17.
She made this disclosure while speaking at a recent conference.
Dikeh clarified the misconception surrounding her transition into ministry, stating that she has always been in Christ.
According to her, everything she has shared publicly was first revealed to her by God in private, explaining that her journey with faith is much deeper and older than many people assume.
She said:
"Everything I said God told me; he told me in private. There’s a misconception about when I came out and when I gave my life to Christ; I’ve always been in Christ, to the point where I was going to be ordained a pastor at 17 years old."
Tonto Dikeh who has been open about her spiritual journey, in August, announced the launch of her interdenominational fellowship, New Wine Prophetic Tabernacle (NWPT), based in Abuja.
