Arsenal have unveiled the squad numbers that their players will wear for the 2026/27 Premier League campaign as Mikel Arteta’s team prepares for the new season.
Several players will retain familiar numbers, while some of the club’s new arrivals and returning players have selected different shirts ahead of the opening weekend.
Bruno Guimaraes, who recently joined Arsenal from Newcastle United, has been assigned the number 39 shirt.
The Brazilian midfielder will be expected to strengthen Arteta’s options in the middle of the pitch as Arsenal pursue domestic and European success.
New signing Christos Tzolis will wear number 17, taking over the shirt previously occupied by Oleksandr Zinchenko. Goalkeeper Illan Meslier has also chosen a new number, with the Frenchman set to wear 30.
Other notable numbers include Bukayo Saka retaining his number seven shirt, while captain Martin Odegaard continues with number eight. Gabriel Jesus remains number nine, and Eberechi Eze will wear the number 10 jersey.
Viktor Gyokeres keeps the number 14 shirt, while Noni Madueke will continue with number 20. Martin Zubimendi has been allocated number 36, while Declan Rice retains number 41.
Youngster Max Dowman has also been included in the senior squad list and will wear number 56.
The confirmed numbers provide a clearer picture of Arsenal’s squad heading into the new campaign. With several additions strengthening the team, expectations will be high around the Emirates as Arteta looks to challenge for major honours.
