Nollywood actor Yomi Gold has spoken candidly about a recent business setback, stressing that early losses will not derail his long‑term ambitions.

The Yoruba actor — who reportedly stepped away from acting to venture into goat farming in the United States — shared a reflective update on Instagram, acknowledging that some losses are permanent and must simply be accepted.

Despite the hit, Yomi said every setback has armed him with lessons far more valuable than the money lost. He noted that he has closed the chapter on past failures and is now fully focused on rebuilding with renewed strength and clarity.

He wrote: “Early losses in business can’t hold me down. Some losses can never be recovered, and I’ve accepted that. Every setback has taught me valuable lessons, and those lessons are worth more than what was lost.

“I refuse to let the past define my future. I’m moving forward with greater wisdom, stronger determination, and unwavering faith in what lies ahead.

“The chapter of loss is closed. The chapter of growth, resilience, and new opportunities has begun.”

The actor’s message has drawn support from fans who praised his resilience and determination to rise above challenges.
