Afrobeats superstar Davido has revealed that he removed a track from his upcoming album after his associate, Israel, leaked it online despite repeated warnings.
In a now‑viral video, Davido explained that Israel had been excessively playing the unreleased song. He said he cautioned him not to play it again after hearing it the first time — but Israel ignored the warning.
Just two days later, Davido stumbled upon a video of Israel dancing with a towel while vibing to the track, which had been posted online. That was the moment he decided the song had to go.
He said: “Israel spoiled the song. Israel was overplaying it. I warned him not to play it again, but two days after the warning, he posted it online. I saw a video of him dancing with a towel while vibing to it.”
