Veteran Nollywood actor Stephen Alajemba, widely recognized by his stage name Uwaezuoke, has made a bold statement about marriage.
He asserts that it is safer and more virtuous for a man to have three or four wives instead of one or two.
In a recent interview with Ugwumba TV, the actor explained that marrying one wife exposes a man to risks, while having two wives might result in dangerous conspiracies.
“It’s a sin to marry one or two wives. But if you marry three or four, you will be free from sin. If you marry one wife, your life is at risk.
“The safety of the director is in the hands of the security. If you marry two wives, they will conspire to poison you,” he stated.
Alajemba elaborated that having three or more wives creates a balance where each wife focuses on her own interests, leaving the husband free from potential harm.
“If you marry three or more wives, they will all be on their own, and you will only be providing for them. You will be taking turns with their meals and bedrooms,” he added.
