Nollywood actor Yul Edochie has issued a warning to his first wife, May, cautioning her to stop manipulating people on social media and causing public disaffection towards him.
The actor's reaction comes after May, on her Instagram page, shared emotional reflections on the challenges she faced in 2023.
May's post detailed the adversities and misfortunes she experienced during the year, describing the loss of her "flesh and blood" and the resultant devastation and confusion.
In a counterstatement on social media, Yul Edochie addressed May's claims directly, alleging that despite her professed hardships, she found time for cosmetic procedures without his consent.
He specifically mentioned breast enlargement surgery and a tummy tuck, claiming that they were endorsed by a married boyfriend.
"2023 stole your flesh & blood, but you still had enough time to do breast enlargement surgery and tummy tuck without your husband's consent," Yul Edochie wrote, adding, "Obviously endorsed by your married boyfriend."
Expressing his frustration, the actor emphasized that he had been silent for a long time, attempting to protect May's image.
However, he asserted that her actions were undermining his efforts, and he would not tolerate such manipulation in 2024.
"Enough of the manipulation. Stop manipulating people on social media to hate me and feel pity for you. I will not take it in 2024," Yul Edochie concluded.
