The Parliamentary Candidate of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) for the Nabdam Constituency, Dr. Mark Kurt Nawaane, has urged constituents to vote massively for him and President John Mahama because of the development he has brought to the constituency.
According to him, the constituency has witnessed more development under his leadership as parliamentary nominee than the incumbent Member of Parliament Boniface Gambil, adding that, the constituency will receive more development when he is elected as the next Member of Parliament.
Addressing the electorate at Pelungu at his campaign launch, Dr. Mark Nawaane urged constituents to critically examine his track record and for him to become the next Member of Parliament.

“Do you want the Elephant to remain here? if you don’t want the elephant to stay here then on that day when you are voting remember your children school fees, remember we built a district hospital, remember that we have dug boreholes and you know that, the only government that brings development.
I have dug two boreholes, supported 300 students to pay their school fees, constructed the Yakote bridge which was abandoned for several years and will do more when elected into office as MP.
On December 7th, vote Mahama ‘ZU’, Nawaane ‘ZA’, Mahama ‘ZU’, Nawaane ‘ZA’ but this year’s election we don’t want skirt and blouse voting, we want up and down,” Dr. Nawaane stated.

Former Member of Parliaments and Chief Executive Officer of the National Petroleum Authority, Moses Asaga donated 12 motor mikes and 2,000 JM T-shirts to support the campaign activities of Dr. Nawaane.
On his part, National Deputy Organizer of the NDC, Joshua Akamba in his address, called on the electorates to reject the NPP and Nana Addo come December 7, adding that, four years is not enough for President Mahama to complete his vision for Ghana.
“This country cannot afford to go back why am I saying that, Nana Addo says we should give me the opportunity to rule Ghana if Nana Addo loves the youth he should join John Mahama to make Ghana a better place but because he doesn’t love the youth, he says they should vote for him to be president.
You remember former president John Kufour took Nana Addo to introduce him to Asantehene after the introduction, the next 3 days we heard president Kufour say that even 7 years is not enough for a first term. Nana Addo, that was what President Kufour was telling you and that 4 years for president Mahama is not enough.
But let’s compare what his own people say about him. Mr. Kofi Coomson, former editor of the chronicle say, he cannot sleep under the watch of Nana Addo becoming the president of this country.”
Mr. Akamba called for peace and unity among the rank and file of the party and urged all NDC supporters to campaign for victory for Dr. Nawaane and president John Mahama.
The Nabdam constituency had since 1992 occupied by Moses Asaga of the NDC until he lost the seat to Boniface Gambil of the NPP.
