Accra, Sept 20, GNA - Mr Paul Glover, a Briton, and father of Ames Glover has appealed to the Ghanaian public, with a reward of up to 10,000 pounds, to help him locate his son, abducted in South Road, Souhthall Junction with Hamilton Road, UK, 15 years ago.
Ames Glover, a British citizen with Ghanaian descent, born on August 20 1989, was five months old when he was abducted from his father's car. A statement from the British High Commission said the father had left Ames alone on the back seat of his blue Ford Sierra car, but returned from the Lloyds Bank and a nearby restaurant only to find his son missing.
Extensive enquiries by the Police Major Investigation had been to no avail.
The case was reviewed in 2001/2002 to establish further links of enquiry. Scotland Yard's Racial and Violent Crimes Taskforce took over the investigation and have followed up various leads and are now appealing for the help of the Ghanaian public.
The British Police Officers believe Ames was brought to Ghana in 1990.
