LEXINGTON, KENTUCKY: Dr. Agyenim Boateng a Ghanaian lawyer resident in USA was honoured last Friday, June 19th by the Kentucky Bar Association at its Annual Convention held in Lexington USA.
He was the only black person among the 101 lawyers all practitioners in the State of Kentucky who were selected into the Senior Counselor status by the Bar Association for “outstanding professional achievement” in their service to the Bar Association and the people of the Commonwealth of Kentucky.
Dr. Boateng who hails from Atimatim/Kumasi had his early education at Asanteman Secondary School in Kumasi is a graduate of Miami University of Ohio, Clark- Atlanta University, Atlanta Georgia and Howard University School of Law in Washington DC.
He recently retired from the services of the Government of Kentucky where he served in various position as a State Attorney; Administrative Law Judge with the Transportation Cabinet and then was appointed as a Deputy Assistant Attorney General of the State of Kentucky where he retired after 29 years of service.
He was awarded by the State Senate with its Distinguish Service Award for his dedicated service to the people and Government of the State of Kentucky.
