The Parliament of Ghana which is represented by our intellectuals parliamentarians candidate which we the people of Ghana find them posses some quality of competences and voted for them to represent us in the parliament and make laws that they think it would help the citizens and Nation as a whole.
In 2003 the parliament taught it wise to ensure transparency, fairness, and erase corruption and make sure that the best value for money is achieved when we come into the field of procurement of goods for the government using public funds by establishing the procurement Act.
And so far it has been deduces that indeed the lay down rules, articles, sections in the Act if implemented it would helps this our dear nation to make sure that best value for every pesewa spent is achieved.
Am eager to know the essence of implementing the procurement act and the role of the public procurement authority because, just recently the public procurement brought a policy that to ensure that public fund is used judiciously in the second cycle institutions , all the second cycle institution should have a qualified procurement officers to handle their procurement activities.
Looking at this, actually indeed I appreciate this initiative by the public procurement authority.
But if you initiative something which is good likes this and you don't implement it, what is the essence of it.
I am appealing to the President and the government of Ghana to close the Office of the Public Procurement Authority, simple because
1. They don't implement what they initiate.
2. They don't do monitoring to make sure the right thing has been done.
3. They spent government money on unnecessary seminars.
4. They don't make sure that the best value for money spent is achieved.

Good one there. Closing PPA will not help, but rather enforcing them to be effected
