
The General Manger of Nissan African Regional Office, Jimmy Dando, has commissioned a showroom in Tamale to serve the public in the three northern regions of Ghana.
Mr. Dando was in Ghana on the invitation of Japan Motors Trading Company Limited, a distributor of Nissan Vehicles in the country, to officially open the outlet to the public.
The new showroom located on the Lamashiegu Road, Tamale, is in line with the expansion of services of Japan Motors to the northern part of the country.
It is also part of the 100 th anniversary celebration of the Kalmoni group of companies, which is a mother company of Japan motors.
Japan Motors Trading Company is highly recognized by Nissan for its outstanding performance.
The company over achieved its target for the sale of new vehicles by 20 percent last year and also attained its after sales objectives for the year.
In 2011, the company, among other things, recorded a market share growth.
According to managers of the company, Japan Motors achieved the feats by creating demand and presence of Nissan vehicles in the Ghanaian market.
The sterling performance was also attributed to continued focus on ensuring that Nissan best practice and business processes are aligned with customer expectations and delivered through the brand, product and service.
