CPP Has Hest Pair — Nduom

Dr Paa Kwesi Nduom, CPP presidential candidate, says the party presents the best pair of presidential and vice-presidential candidates in the December polls.

He said Dr Abu Foster Sakara, his running mate and himself had that the CPP had the best first and second gentlemen for the country and what was needed was for Ghanaians to translate their admiration and belief in the two into votes in the December polls.

Dr Nduom was sharing his views on the Institute of Economic Affairs (IEA) vice-presidential candidate debate held in Cape Coast in the Central Region in Accra last Saturday after a town hall meeting with some youth in the party.

“Dr Sakara was disciplined from the onset to the last point. In debates, your beginning answer and final statement must strike and crown everything respectively, and Dr Sakara was exceptional,” he told the Daily Graphic.

He said his running mate was clear about what he was bringing to the CPP ticket and what the CPP stood for and did not engage in unnecessary confrontation like others who did not know what they were about.

“Youthful exuberance do not make up for maturity in politics,” he added.

Concerning the town hall meetings, Dr Nduom advised them to use the party's message on peace, decent jobs, health, and free, compulsory and continuous education for people to convince people to vote for the CPP.

He said the target was that each of them would convince at least about 10 people they know to vote for the CPP, which would add to the party's core votes and earn victory for it.

Dr Nduom advised the youth to be extra vigilant on election day and ensure that the party was not cheated at the polls.

Earlier in the day, Dr Nduom visited and campaigned at Asutuare, University of Ghana, Legon Taxi Rank and Odododiodoo where he interacted with the people.

At the Accra central business district, Dr Nduom attracted more people when he walked for about two hours, interacting with the market women.Story By Donald Ato Dapatem, Sege
