
The Electricity Company of Ghana (ECG) has scheduled power outages in several communities within the Accra West Region from Monday, October 12, to Wednesday, October 14, 2026, to undertake maintenance works aimed at improving electricity service delivery.
In notices issued on Sunday, October 11, the company said the interruptions would occur daily from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
The first outage, scheduled for Monday, October 12, will affect Mile 7 Estates, Caledonia Hotel, Great Gardens, Fountain Gate Church, ECO Block, Franco Estate, Pokuase BSP, Koans Estate and surrounding areas.
On Tuesday, October 13, Ameriya Last Stop and its surrounding communities will experience a power interruption.
The Wednesday, October 14, outage will affect Tabora Nos. 3, 4, 5 and 6, Bankyease, Race Course, Alhaji, Kwashiebu, Gbawe Bulemin, Gonse, Joma, Agbozome, CP and surrounding areas.
ECG has apologised to customers in the affected communities for the inconvenience and urged them to take note of the scheduled outages and make the necessary preparations.
