The New Patriotic Party (NPP) says it has completed its Final Delegates Register ahead of the party’s National Officers’ Elections scheduled for October 3.

The National Officers Elections Committee (NOEC) said the register would be available for collection by aspirants or their authorised representatives from Thursday, September 17.

The committee also announced an online verification facility to enable delegates to confirm their eligibility ahead of the elections at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium in Kumasi.

“The Final Delegates Register has been completed and will be available for collection by aspirants or their authorised representatives from tomorrow, Thursday, 17th September 2026,” NOEC said in a statement signed by its Chairman, Frederick Opare-Ansah.

The committee said delegates could verify their eligibility through the NPP’s official website by selecting the “Verification” option and entering their phone number or Voter ID number to receive a One-Time Password.

NOEC also outlined specific voting arrangements for the elections, including the participation of all eligible youth delegates in the National Youth Organiser election and all female delegates in the National Women’s Organiser election.

For the three National Vice-Chairperson positions, each delegate will be required to select three aspirants, with the tally system to be used in counting the votes.

The committee further confirmed that proxy voting would be permitted and said a final Proxy Register would be published on September 27.

“The elections themselves will be conducted by the Electoral Commission of Ghana under the supervision of NOEC and in accordance with the rules, regulations and guidelines provided by NOEC,” the statement said.

NOEC said it is working with the Electoral Commission and the Ghana Police Service to ensure an orderly, secure and transparent electoral process.

The party has previously cleared 47 aspirants to contest nine national executive positions.
