A heated confrontation reportedly broke out at a food joint after a man dressed in plain clothes, who claimed to be a police officer, attempted to arrest a tricycle rider.
According to the narrative surrounding the incident, the man approached the tricycle rider and requested to see his driver’s licence. However, the rider reportedly questioned the man’s identity and asked him to establish that he was indeed a police officer.
The purported Police officer later asked the rider to move outside, reportedly claiming that he wanted to remove the handcuffs from his hands. However, the rider refused to move from where they were standing. He reportedly insisted that if the man wanted to remove the handcuffs, he should do so at the same spot.
The situation subsequently escalated into a heated argument, with the two reportedly exchanging words.
