Ghana High Commission commends Minister and Head of Chancery for outstanding award

The Ghana High Commission in London has congratulated Mr Noble Mawutor Kudzo Alifo, Minister and Head of Chancery, after he was named Outstanding Head of Chancery for the 2025 performance year at the Civil Service Awards.

The High Commission described the recognition as a fitting acknowledgement of Mr Alifo’s dedication to Ghana’s Foreign Service and his contribution to the effective administration of Ghana’s diplomatic missions.

“This award is a reflection of the dedication, professionalism and commitment that Mr Alifo has brought to Ghana’s Foreign Service over the years,” it said.

The High Commission said his career demonstrated the value of experience and professionalism in the management of Ghana’s diplomatic missions. It congratulated Mr Alifo on the award and expressed its appreciation for his continued service to Ghana’s Foreign Service.

It noted that the award should encourage public servants serving in Ghana’s missions abroad to continue carrying out their responsibilities with professionalism, discipline and dedication.

The Mission said Mr Alifo’s recognition also reflected the breadth of experience he had gained during more than two decades of service in Ghana’s Foreign Service.

Mr Alifo joined the Foreign Service in June 2000 and has served in several departments of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, including Information and Public Affairs, Protocol, Legal and Consular Affairs, Estates, Africa and African Union Affairs, Europe, and Finance and Accounts.

His diplomatic career has included an overseas posting to the Ghana High Commission in Ottawa, Canada, where he served in senior positions, including Minister and Acting High Commissioner.

At the Ghana High Commission in London, he is responsible for coordinating key administrative functions of the Mission and supporting the delivery of diplomatic and consular services to Ghanaians in the United Kingdom and Ireland.

He has also served as Acting Head of Mission on various occasions, representing Ghana at diplomatic, trade and community engagements.
