Newly elected NPP Greater Accra Regional Chairman, Dr. Bernard Okoe Boye, has pledged to channel his fresh mandate into a full‑scale push to make the party’s flagbearer, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, President of Ghana.
Dr. Okoe Boye made the declaration in a Facebook post after securing a commanding win in the regional elections, polling 488 votes against his contender’s 173 — a result he described as a resounding endorsement of his leadership.
He thanked constituency executives for their support and said the real work now begins: delivering victory for Dr. Bawumia in the 2028 general election.
“We shall not rest until we make Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia President of the Republic of Ghana,” he stated.
Expressing gratitude to the Greater Accra delegates for their trust and encouragement throughout the campaign, he added: “Thank you, Greater Accra. The Restoration Begins!”
