New Patriotic Party (NPP) Ashanti Regional Organiser aspirant, Sarfo Raphael Patrick, has pledged to remain fully active in the party despite losing the regional organiser contest to Dennis Kwakwa.
Dennis Kwakwa secured victory with 527 votes, while Sarfo Raphael garnered 263 votes.
In a statement after the election, Mr. Raphael said the outcome would not derail his political ambitions, stressing that his dedication to the NPP and its progress remains intact.
“This defeat is not the end of my political journey. I remain committed to the NPP and to contributing to the growth, unity and strengthening of our party,” he said.
He accepted the verdict of the delegates with humility and respect, congratulating Mr. Kwakwa and all other successful candidates.
Mr. Raphael also expressed heartfelt appreciation to the delegates who supported him, as well as his campaign team, family, friends, sponsors, financiers and loyal supporters.
He urged party members to move past the election and close ranks for the greater good of the NPP.
“Our party is bigger than any individual ambition. Let us put the election behind us, unite and work together for a stronger NPP and a successful future,” he said.
