Former presidential staffer, Samuel Bryan Buabeng has raised concerns about criticism directed at some prominent members of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), including Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh and Kennedy Agyapong.
Commenting on recent discussions within the party, Buabeng said Dr. Opoku Prempeh had been the subject of sustained criticism.
“Just look at how Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh has been used as a punching bag for almost a month by Afiashwar, yet no one has had the courage to call her to order,” he said.
He also spoke about Kennedy Agyapong’s contribution to the party.
“Hon. Ken Ohene Agyapong may be whatever people choose to call him, but I believe he is more beneficial and useful to this party than 99% of those who have made it their occupation to attack him every day,” Buabeng stated.
At the same time, he said Kennedy Agyapong should exercise caution in how and when he responds to issues.
“That said, he must also learn the importance of timing and restraint,” he added.
