Assin North Senior High Technical School (ANSTECH), located at Assin Asempanaye in the Central Region, will officially launch its 40th Anniversary Celebration on Wednesday, June 24, 2026, at the school's premises.
The launch marks the beginning of activities commemorating four decades of academic excellence, technical education, character formation, and service to Ghana. The event is expected to attract government officials, traditional authorities, education stakeholders, old students, parents, students, and members of the public.
Established in 1985, Assin North Senior High Technical School has, over the years, distinguished itself as a center of excellence, producing graduates who continue to contribute significantly to national development in various professions and sectors of the economy.
The anniversary is being celebrated under the theme: "Hands and Brains: 40 Years of Transforming Lives." The theme reflects the school's commitment to combining practical skills with academic knowledge to equip students with the competencies required to succeed in an ever-changing world.
Speaking ahead of the launch, the Headmistress, Mrs. Grace Dylis Ababio, described the anniversary as a significant milestone in the history of the institution.
According to her, the celebration provides an opportunity to reflect on the school's achievements over the past four decades, honour the contributions of past and present stakeholders, and mobilize support for infrastructure development and academic excellence.
The launch programme will feature cultural performances, musical interludes, the unveiling of anniversary activities, the inauguration of anniversary sub-committees, goodwill messages from distinguished guests, and a keynote address.
The Board of Governors, Management, Staff, Students, Parent-Teacher Association, and Old Students Association have extended an open invitation to all stakeholders and well-wishers to participate in the launch and support the vision of the school.
