The Upper West Regional Women’s Organiser of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Madam Prisca Domenyevi Kuupol, has hosted a special Mothers’ Day dinner in honour of constituency women organisers and their deputies as part of the 2026 celebrations.
The event was aimed at recognising the dedication, sacrifice and commitment of the women to the NDC and the current administration.
Addressing the gathering, Madam Kuupol highlighted a number of initiatives under the Mahama/Jane administration which she said have improved the welfare of women and young people across the country. She urged the women organisers and grassroots members to remain patient and supportive as government continues to roll out its programmes.
She reaffirmed the administration’s commitment to the party’s base, assuring them that more opportunities and benefits would be delivered to those who contributed to the party’s return to power.
The constituency women organisers expressed appreciation for the engagement, describing it as unprecedented and a valuable platform for direct dialogue on government interventions and their impact. They also called for more of such interactions to strengthen communication and deepen unity within the party.
