Alhaji Khuzaima Mohammed Osman, Executive Director of the African Security and Development Forum (ASDEF), has been appointed as the Taffidan Hausan of Africa and Europe.

The prestigious title was conferred by the African Chiefdom and Council, Arewarmu Duniyarmu, during its 9th Annual General Activities held on Saturday, May 2, 2026, in the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja, Nigeria.

In his new capacity as Taffidan Hausan, Alhaji Khuzaima assumes the vital role of Global Ambassador of Hausa.

His career is marked by a deep commitment to African identity, especially Hausa, making him uniquely qualified to represent the Hausa community on the global stage.

Alhaji Khuzaima usually travels around the world with the name “Zango man", promoting the Zango culture and identity.

Speaking to the media following the turbaning ceremony, Alhaji Khuzaima accepted the title and award in good faith.

"I feel deeply humbled and immensely grateful to Almighty Allah for this honour," he stated. "I extend my profound appreciation to the Arewarmu Duniyarmu organisation and specifically to the Emirate of Daura, the Grand Patron of the organisation, for their trust and vision."
