Interior Ministry opens centralised 2025/26 recruitment portal for security agencies

The Ministry of Interior has officially launched a Centralised Services E-Recruitment Portal (C-SERP) for applications for the 2025/26 recruitment cycle into Ghana’s internal security agencies.

The portal will be active from 12:00 noon on Monday, November 17, 2025, and will close on Friday, December 19, 2025.

According to an announcement from the C-SERP Secretariat, prospective applicants can access the portal at cserpgh.com to begin the application process.

To apply, candidates must first purchase an application voucher. Vouchers are available via the USSD code *713*03# on all mobile networks or at any GCB Bank branch nationwide. Applicants must indicate the specific security agency they wish to apply to when purchasing the voucher.

The 2025/26 recruitment covers four major internal security institutions: the Ghana Police Service, the Ghana Prisons Service, the Ghana National Fire Service, and the Ghana Immigration Service.

The C-SERP Secretariat has urged all applicants to carefully read the eligibility criteria before applying. Officials emphasized that only shortlisted candidates will be contacted for the next phase of the process.

The public has been cautioned against dealing with middlemen. The recruitment exercise, the Secretariat stressed, is free, fair, and strictly merit-based. Individuals who promise protocol placements or charge for recruitment slots are fraudsters.

Authorities also warned that applicants who submit false information or forged documents will be disqualified and may be prosecuted.
