NSA releases PIN codes for private candidates, defaulters and foreign-trained graduates

The National Service Authority (NSA) has released PIN codes to eligible private candidates, previous national service defaulters and graduates trained outside Ghana for the 2026/2027 national service year.

In a statement issued on Monday, September 28, 2026, the NSA said it had approved 3,129 applications out of the 7,794 submissions received.

The Authority explained that the release followed the completion of the required registration, payment, verification and approval processes.

The exercise is intended for eligible Ghanaian graduates who previously failed to undertake their mandatory national service, as well as private candidates and graduates who obtained their qualifications from institutions outside the country.

Of the total applications received, 4,722 had been paid for, while 3,072 were still awaiting payment. The NSA said 1,558 applications remained pending approval, with 35 applications rejected.

Applicants whose submissions have been approved have been advised to check their PIN codes and complete the remaining enrolment requirements within the deadlines set by the Authority.

The NSA also urged beneficiaries to carefully verify the personal details attached to their PIN codes and promptly report any inaccuracies.

Those experiencing difficulties with the enrolment process have been advised to contact the relevant NSA offices for assistance.

The Authority further reminded eligible Ghanaian graduates that national service is a statutory requirement and urged all applicants issued with PIN codes to comply with the applicable procedures and timelines to ensure a smooth enrolment and deployment process.
