Keys To Exalting A Nation

Keys To Exalting A Nation

Bible Texts:

Proverbs 14:34 – “Righteousness exalts a nation, but sin is a reproach to any people.”

Matthew 6:33 – “But seek first the Kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.”

🔑 INTRODUCTION

God cares about nations. He wants our countries to rise, to be full of peace, truth, and good leaders. But this can only happen when we follow God's way. The Bible gives us clear keys—simple truths that lift a nation up and stop it from falling. Today, let us learn these keys and how we can live them every day.

🔑 KEY 1: RIGHTEOUSNESS

What is it?

It means doing what is right in God’s eyes. Not what the world calls right, but what God calls right.

Why it matters:

God lifts nations that follow His way. When people live right—when leaders are honest, when families are kind, when business is fair—God blesses that land.

Bible example:

When Joseph ruled Egypt with wisdom and a pure heart, the whole country was saved from hunger.

🔑 KEY 2: JUSTICE

What is it?

Justice means treating everyone fairly—rich or poor, young or old, weak or strong.

Why it matters:

God loves justice. He hates lies, cheating, and abuse. A nation will only stand strong when justice flows like a river.

Bible example:

King Solomon asked God for wisdom to judge people fairly. God gave him wisdom and peace followed.

🔑 KEY 3: PEACE

What is it?

Peace is not just quiet. It means people living together in love, respect, and safety.

Why it matters:

When there is peace, families grow, schools work, and people feel safe. God blesses peaceful lands.

Bible example:

Under King David, when there was peace in Israel, the people worshipped freely, and the nation grew strong.

🔑 KEY 4: GODLY LEADERSHIP

What is it?

Leaders who listen to God and lead the people with His Word.

Why it matters:

When leaders fear God, they lead well. But when leaders forget God, the people suffer.

Bible example:

When King Josiah found the Word of God and followed it, the whole nation turned back to God and was saved from destruction.

🔑 KEY 5: SEEKING GOD’S KINGDOM FIRST

What is it?

Putting God first in every part of life—home, work, school, business, and government.

Why it matters:

When we make God the center, He adds every other thing—food, shelter, joy, and growth.

Bible verse:

Matthew 6:33 – “Seek first the Kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things will be added to you.”

📢 CALL TO ACTION

What must we do?

1. Live right—Speak the truth, love your neighbor, and obey God.

2. Do good—Be fair to everyone. Help those who are weak.

3. Pray for your leaders—Ask God to give them wisdom.

4. Teach your children—Show them how to follow God's way.

5. Put God first—In your choices, in your money, in your time.

🙏 PRAYER

“Father, we thank You for Your Word. Help us live right. Help us love justice. Give our nation peace. Raise up leaders who fear You. Let Your Kingdom come and Your will be done in our land. In Jesus’ name, Amen.”
