Introduction:
God is the first and greatest leader. He created the world from nothing. He brought light into darkness. This shows us that God is a God of new ideas. He wants His people to also lead with new ideas that bring life and light.

Genesis 1:1-3
In the beginning, there was nothing. But God spoke, and there was light. God did not wait for things to happen. He made them happen.

Lesson: We must ask God for ideas. He gives ideas that bring change.

2. You Are the Light of the World
Matthew 5:14-16
Jesus said, "You are the light of the world." Light shows the way. Light brings hope. That means you must lead by showing others a better way.
