Akufo-Addo commissions Sekyere Afram Plains District Hospital today

President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo is set to continue his three-day campaign tour of the Ashanti Region today, November 25, 2024, with a series of inaugurations and commissioning events aimed at showcasing key infrastructure projects under his administration.

The President will begin his day in Drobonso, located in the Sekyere Afram Plains, where he will commission the newly constructed Sekyere Afram Plains District Hospital. This is part of the government’s Agenda 111 initiative to improve healthcare access across Ghana.

From Drobonso, President Akufo-Addo will travel to Sabronum in the Ahafo Ano South-East District to inaugurate another district hospital, underscoring his administration’s commitment to strengthening healthcare delivery in underserved communities.

Later in the day, he will visit Trede in the Atwima Kwanwoma District to open the Trede District Hospital. The President will then proceed to Bantama, where he will commission the Atafoa-Owabi River Bridge, a significant infrastructure project aimed at improving connectivity within the region.

The tour will conclude with two major events: the commissioning of the Suame Municipal Hospital in Suame and the unveiling of the new office complex of the Audit Service in Adum. These projects are expected to enhance healthcare delivery and public service efficiency in the Ashanti Region.
