The Ghana Education Trust Fund (GETFund) has officially opened applications for its 2024/2025 Postgraduate Local Scholarship programme.
The initiative, which aims to provide financial support to deserving Ghanaian students pursuing Masters and PhD programmes in local institutions, will accept applications from Friday, November 15, 2024, to Sunday, December 15, 2024.
In an announcement, GETFund stated, “All applicants are required to visit the GETFund Website to access the scholarship portal to complete an online application form. Applicants shall complete the online form with required information and upload scanned copies of required documentation for vetting and shortlisting.”
Application Process
Applicants must complete their applications exclusively through the GETFund scholarship portal at scholarships.getfund.gov.gh.
The process involves filling out an online form, uploading scanned copies of supporting documents, and adhering to the outlined requirements on the portal.
The Fund emphasized its commitment to a transparent process, noting that “Shortlisted applicants shall be contacted after the vetting processes are completed.”
Prospective applicants are encouraged to carefully review the eligibility criteria and submit their applications within the stipulated timeframe.
