Get Ready to Shine, Kwadaso Women! On Saturday, 21 September 2024, Nana Kwadwo Akwaa made a groundbreaking announcement at the Kwadaso NPP Women's Wing Conference, held at the Kwadaso Methodist Retreat Centre. The programme was organised by Madam Janet Awuah, who is arguably the best constituency NPP women's organiser in the Ashanti Region.

The conference, themed "Mobilising the Women in Unity to Campaign Effectively to Break the Eight", provided the ideal platform for Nana Akwaa's exciting GHC 1000 challenge. The challenge recognises and rewards the most hardworking member (woman) of the Kwadaso Constituency NPP Women's Wing for the 2024 Elections Campaign with a GHC 1000.00.

This charge, in collaboration with Madam Janet Awuah, aims to drive Dr Mahamudu Bawumia's presidential vision and Prof Kingsley Nyarko's parliamentary mission to victory. Inspired by biblical figures such as Deborah, Esther, and Mary, Nana Akwaa emphasised, "Women are the game-changers and pillars of strength! Show unwavering dedication, unrelenting passion, and unmatched work ethic. Claim this reward and make history!"

This initiative empowers women leaders, boosts morale, and demonstrates NPP's commitment to women's empowerment, aligning with the party's "Breaking the Eight" agenda. Nana Akwaa's challenge resonates deeply within the party, reflecting its dedication to inclusivity and equal opportunities. As Kwadaso women rise to the challenge, victory awaits.

The programme, attended by hundreds of enthusiastic participants, successfully mobilised women to unite and campaign effectively, fostering a strong sense of solidarity and determination amongst them. By doing so, it underscored NPP's unwavering commitment to empowering women and promoting their active participation in politics.

The occasion also recognised the following personalities for their immense contributions: Mrs Genevieve Owusu Afriyie Akoto (Life Patron and Wife of Dr. Owusu Afriyie Akoto), Mrs Anita Kusi Boateng, Chairman Yaw Bonnah Boadi, Nana Kwasi Oduro Kwarteng (Tee) (Life Patron), Nana Kwadwo Akwaa, Mr. Vincent Frimpong Manu, Esq., Prof. Kingsley Nyarko, Dr. SK Nuamah (Former Kwadaso MP), and Hon. Richmond Agyenim Boateng. All were recognised courtesy of Madam Janet Awuah.
