UG takes over Legon Botanical Gardens management

The University of Ghana (UG) has announced the successful resolution of its contractual dispute with Mulch Company Limited, formerly Pine Springs Company Limited, regarding the management of the University of Ghana Botanical Gardens.

This development brings to an end a longstanding issue that has plagued the institution since 2009.

The dispute began when the University agreed with Pine Springs Company Limited for the renovation and management of the Botanical Gardens.

Mulch Company Limited has agreed to cease its operations and vacate the Gardens by November 30, 2024.
