Dear Nalerigu/Gambaga Constituents, NPP MP Better Serves You Than NDC MP

In the history of the Fourth Republic of Ghana, the New Patriotic Party (NPP) have won the Nalerigu-Gambaga Constituency two times as compare to the National Democratic Congress (NDC), that won it six times. Hon. Hajia Alima Mahama won it in 2004 and 2016 for the NPP.

It is evidently clear that the two terms Hon. Hajia Alima Mahama won the seat were more impactful than any MP in the constituency. She left visible projects that are still impacting lives of the constituents.

As an NPP MP, Hajia Alima Mahama can boast of the establishment of the first tertiary health training institution in the constituency. The Nalerigu College of Nursing and Midwifery, established by Hajia Alima Mahama, has been serving many constituents and beyond.

As a mother herself, Hon. Hajia Alima Mahama established the first girls Senior High School (SHS) in the constituency, i.e the Gambaga Girls Senior High School (Gagish). In her second coming as an MP, she donated a pickup to the school.

Under the watch of the action-oriented MP, Nalerigu to Bongbini stretch of the Nalerigu - Walewale road was tarred. Hon. Hajia Alima Mahama lobbied for the construction of the Nalerigu - Gbintiri road in her second term as MP in 2017. Remember, in her first term as an MP she fixed the very important bridge on the Nalerigu-Gbintiri road that eased market women movement to the Gbintiri market. NPP is always there for the good people of Gbintiri and it's surrounding communities.

The coming back of NPP MP in 2017 came with massive development across the constituency. Hon. Hajia Alima Mahama saw to the establishment of the Langbinsi SHS and Sakogu SHS and she was on process of giving Gbintiri a SHS but the unfortunate loss of the seat delayed the process. It is refreshing to note that the Gbintiri SHS will start admitting students this year.

Under the leadership of Hon. Hajia Alima Mahama as an MP, the constituency witnessed massive employment across almost all sectors of the economy. The evidence is there for all and sundry in the constituency to testify. Areas we never thought of getting employment, she facilitated that.

An NPP MP is the only MP from the constituency who served as a substantive and cabinet minister in her two terms as MP. The constituency can only get this from the NPP that gives opportunity to all. Despite the fact that NDC won the seat more than the NPP, the NDC has never produced a substantive minister from the constituency. The best position NDC MP occupied before was a deputy minister.

It is evident that voting for the NPP PC for the Nalerigu-Gambaga Constituency is key to unlocking more development in the constituency. The Constituents have tried the NDC MPs several times but they have woefully failed them.

So, the best person to changing the narrative in the constituency and bringing back the required development as started by Hon. Hajia Alima Mahama is Hon. Alhaji Mohammed Nurudeen Mumuni. He is the best to do the job for you, my dear Nalerigu/Gambaga Constituents.

The current NDC MP for the Nalerigu-Gambaga Constituency, just like the previous NDC MPs, has failed the constituents and does not deserve a second term at all. Voting for the current MP will mean more complaints without any solutions to your problems. If your MP joins you in complaining instead of finding solutions to your problems, you just know that you don't have a good representation.

Getting a good representation for the good people of Nalerigu/Gambaga Constituency is a must. *Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia* as a President will better work with Alhaji Mohammed Nurudeen Mumuni as an MP to bringing more development to the Constituency. It will be a disaster voting for the current NDC PC because they have proven to be failures over time.
